When I lived in New York back in the 1970’s, I was limited spatially for most three dimensional work. During that period I constructed a number of small personal shrines and objects that I kept for myself or gave to friends.

Working with beads has opened the doors to endless possibilities and surfaces to adorn. Most of the time in my studio I am working on a number of objects, from paintings to necklaces to mirrors to doors. Besides all that, I find myself digging in the garden and hanging out with the plants. The common theme that runs through all my interests is the sense of truly being blessed to approach life in a beauty way. I attempt to spread and embellish this beauty throughout my work...
